hireTerms of service

By creating a hireXlog account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use hireXlog.
The service
hireXlog reads the job-related emails in the Gmail account you connect and organises them into lists of applications, interviews, jobs to apply to and connections. It builds those lists automatically from email content, so they may be incomplete or wrong. Always check important details, such as interview times, against the original email.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- Only connect a Gmail account that you own or are allowed to use.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse hireXlog. That includes trying to access other people's data, disrupting the service, reverse-engineering it to get around its security, or using it for anything unlawful.
Your data
Your data belongs to you. We handle it as described in our privacy policy. You can disconnect Gmail or delete your account at any time from inside the app.
Your own AI key
If you add an OpenAI or Anthropic API key, any charges that provider makes for its use are yours. Their terms apply to those requests.
Availability and changes
hireXlog is provided "as is". We may change, pause or stop parts of the service, and we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
As far as the law allows, hireXlog isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed interview or job opportunity, that come from using or not being able to use the service.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, we'll change the date above. If you keep using hireXlog after that, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
